On 26th February, TTS Penang had the Prosperity Toss, which is also called Yee Sang as a symbol of Abundance and Good Luck. Everyone had their good times in celebrating the event!
On 22nd February 2018, TTS Taiwan held their "Start Work" ceremony. Grand opening for resuming work on the 1st day after the Chinese New Year is considered an important event for the Chinese community. It is believed that the selection of an auspicious date for the grand opening brings prosperity and good blessings for the whole year.
In conjunction with Renri, the seventh day of Chinese New Year, TTS Team in Johor had the Prosperity Toss, which is also called Yee Sang as a symbol of Abundance and Good Luck.
TTS Japan, in partnership with Kyodo International, participated in SEMICON Japan and showcase some of our latest technology including sockets for Bio Chips.
TTS Thailand was presented with a Silver Award at the national level for the project on ‘Healthy, Safety and Happy Workplace’ organised by the Department of Disease Control (DCC). The award received showed TTS Group’s commitment towards employees’ health and safety at work. TTS Thailand Factory Manager, Wilaiporn Khrueakham, received the award from M.D. Suwannachai Wattanayingcharoenchai, Director of Department of Disease Control, in an award ceremony held in Bangkok. More than 500 organizations in Thailand took part in the project, and TTS Thailand is one of the four companies from Chiangmai to achieve this recognition.
TTS Malaysia recently held their Long Service Award events at their sites in Penang and Johor. This annual event is held to commemorate employees who have served 5 years and more. This year saw a total of 20 recipients receiving their service awards. During the event, the Company also presented the Academic Excellence Award to children of employees who have excelled at national level examinations sat in 2016. The Academic Excellence Award was introduced this year to encourage children of employees to excel in their studies.
TTS Thailand had recently organised a comprehensive dental health check-up and lungs check-up for its employees at its facility. The event was part of its health management care for its employees for early detection of illness. The event was well received and appreciated by the employees.
