5S has long been one of the workplace management initiatives undertaken by TTS group to enhance efficiency towards lean manufacturing operations. Last year in 2012, our facility in Johor Bahru had organized a 12 months improvement competition amongst all departments to maintain the robustness of this 5S initiative. Emerging as winner of the 5S competition is Auto Lathe – QA which had showed consistent improvements in waste reduction, efficiency and quality, whilst maintaining zero accidents and zero near misses in the workplace. Congratulations to the Auto Lathe – QA team and keep up the good work!
