The Food Fridge program which was temporarily operated for two (2) months since 1st November 2021, to avoid any needy family in Penang from falling through the crack after the Neighbourhood Care Program (NCP) ended by placing refrigerators filled with fresh vegetables and fruits. Any employee can access these fridges to deliver fresh food to our neighbours who are affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The volunteers’ support of TTS’s mission has successfully distributed 256 fresh food packages to needy families. Not only does your work help the organization, it directly impacts each person who receives assistance.

All good things must come to an end. The Food Fridge program has finally ended on 31st December 2021. The high vaccination rate has led to a decrease in Covid-19 cases and the Malaysian government has reopened the economy gradually and eased movement restrictions throughout the country. This will have a positive impact on domestic consumption and the economy is expected to gradually recover.

We did a lot in 2021, and could not have done it without you. We, unfortunately don’t get to spend much time together in person or have many pictures together. We connect through our shared desire to care for one another and understand that, especially in times like these, we have to.

Words fail me but you didn’t – thank you for all you have done. I wish I had the words to express inexplicable thanks to every person that has volunteered with us for your time and service.

TTS Group thank each and everyone who participated in this program. Our volunteers are the heart of our organization.
