TTSM today announced the purchase of a new production facility in Johor, Malaysia. The new plant, covering a floor area of almost 50,000 sq. ft. will supplement the existing 60,000 sq. ft. facility in Penang and will house the probe pin fabrication and assembly operation when fully renovated by Jan 2007. The purchase is subject to the customary approval by the relevant authority.
