TTSG is pleased to congratulate the production team from PCBA Division and the QA team from Pin Assembly Division lead by HH Ng and Kelvin Tay respectively as the winners of 5S program and walked away with cash prizes for their team. The successful implementation of the 5S values ( Sort “SEIRI”, Straighten “SEITON”, Shine “SEISO”, Standardize “ SEIKETSU” and Sustain “ SHITSUKE”) helps to sustain a clean and neat working environment as well as to create a harmonious and friendly production atmosphere with the aim of enhancing productivity and efficiency.
TTSG congratulates one of our own, Ms Lai Chen Yong - Staff Pin Design Engineer, for her appointment to the Technical Program Committee under BiTS. She is the first Asian lady to be appointed to the committee. Together with other members of the committee, CY has the responsibility of developing, organizing and preparing technical program, soliciting and selection of technical paper, and providing technical guidance to authors in their papers. Both TTSG and BiTS believe that CY will promote and contribute to the advancement of the technical program.
TTSG participated in the blood donation organized by Thai Red Cross Society as part of its ongoing commitment towards supporting the local community. The blood donation campaign took place at National Blood Center in Bangkok, Thailand. Transportation was provided for the employees to support this initiative and the participation was overwhelming.
Test Tooling Solutions Group has appointed Takuto Yoshida as the Probe Pin Design Manager. Reporting to the CEO, Yoshida-san is tasked to oversee the entire pin design operation and map out the long term strategy and technology roadmap for future pin design and application.
2 major earthquakes of magnitude 7 and 5 had hit Burma, borderline with Northern Thailand, at around 9:30pm on Thursday, March 24. There was no report of injuries or damage to our facility in Chiang Mai where the tremors were felt for at least 10 seconds. This morning, March 25, the factory had conducted an evacuation exercise with the help of the local government and emergency respond team to ensure all employees are prepared and ready for unexpected emergency situation. We appreciate the assistance and collaboration of the employees, local government officials and fire department on a short notice.
