TTS Group took part in the SEMICON China exhibition from 18th to 20th of March and the response was overwhelming. The booth, which showcased the Test Probe, BIB, Load Board etc, received more than 500 visitors from the semiconductors industry during the 3 days exhibition. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the customers and vendors alike for visiting and discussing their future plan with us.

TTSM today announced the purchase of 20 new auto-lathe machines from Tsugami Japan for the fabrication of fine pitch test probe. 5 of these machines have been shipped to the factory in Johor, Malaysia and another 15 are expected to be delivered over the next few months. The total investment on the machines is more than USD 2 million.

Test Tooling Solutions Group announces that they have entered into a definitive agreement with the shareholders of R-Squared Circuits Inc to acquire 100% of the company. R-Squared Circuits Inc, located in Folsom California, is a Printed Circuit Board Manufacturer for ATE testers. “The acquisition is strategic to the Group as we now have the in-house capability of fabricating a major component for any ATE Board.”, according to Group CEO, SL Wee . Meanwhile, the acquisition is subjected to the customary approval of the regulatory authorities.
