TTSG congratulates all the recipients of the Long Service Award for this year. This award is held annually to recognize our employees who have made a diligent and outstanding commitment through their engagement, accountability and innovation toward the organization. Buffet lunch in the recipients’ honor were organized at the different sites attended by management and employees to mark the occasion.
The Intellectual Property Corporation of Malaysia has granted a Patent (MY-145970-A) for our Hybrid Socket effective 21st May 2012. The innovative middle plate design of the Hybrid Socket enables the impedance control of the signal pins and reduces the inductance of the power pins at the same time; thus, supporting a higher data transfer rate with minimal interference.
TTSG is pleased to introduce the new green logo and tagline. The new logo and tagline will replace the existing one on all communication and marketing collateral from Nov 2012 onward. The new logo and tagline reflects the Group’s continuous effort to cultivate the individual employee’s commitment to a healthier lifestyle of feel green, live green and be green, after a successful reduce, reuse and recycle program for the last few years.
TTSG organized a series of 3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recycling) activities throughout the month of September. These activities successfully cultivated a greater recycling awareness among the employees and contribution to the greener environment. We congrats the Pink and Yellow team for coming up on top of the competition and the proceed from the sales of the recycle waste will be donated to charities of their choices.
TTSG has acquired another 10 units of brand new CNC machines from Citizen and Fanuc with a list price of more than USD1 million as part of the expansion plan. All the machines have been installed and commissioned over the last 2 weeks. The additional capacity is catered to meet the additional demand of customers and reduce the delivery lead time.
With the aim for teambuilding, interaction and promoting healthy sport activity among the employees, TTSG held its first friendly bowling match at Penang Sunshine Bowling Centre with almost a full turnout. Mechanical designer Mr. Baharim won the best individual title with his exceptional bowling skill while Team 10 pints took the gold in the team category. The event was a big success as everyone enjoy the laughter and experiences.
To promote reading habits and to widen knowledge amongst employees, TTSG has set up a mini library. The cozy mini Library has a variety of management and self-development books, novels and magazines for light reading. All books, novels and magazines are contributed by both the company and employees. The mini Library is also an avenue to encourage the recycling of books and magazines by employees.
TTSG has received an award from Broadcom Inc, a fortune 500 company, in recognition of our outstanding service and support to them. The recognition is yet another affirmation of TTSG’s capability in delivering its commitment of on-time delivery and consistent quality products to support our customer’s needs.
TTSG has been granted the patent for Offset Taper Spring (OTS) by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) filed on Dec 27,2011.The patent number for this new design is US 8,083,552 B2. OTS design has the unique capability of reducing and stabilizing the electrical resistance while prolonging the lifespan of probe pin.
