TTSG is pleased to introduce the new green logo and tagline. The new logo and tagline will replace the existing one on all communication and marketing collateral from Nov 2012 onward. The new logo and tagline reflects the Group’s continuous effort to cultivate the individual employee’s commitment to a healthier lifestyle of feel green, live green and be green, after a successful reduce, reuse and recycle program for the last few years.
TTSG organized a series of 3R (Reduce, Reuse and Recycling) activities throughout the month of September. These activities successfully cultivated a greater recycling awareness among the employees and contribution to the greener environment. We congrats the Pink and Yellow team for coming up on top of the competition and the proceed from the sales of the recycle waste will be donated to charities of their choices.
TTSG had participated World Water Day 2012, one of the annual events in support of the Group’s Green Initiative which held at Penang Youth Park. This educative event was awakening our consciousness to conserve our water from water crisis. All participants were enjoyed in the fun and great healthy activities with their family and friends.
Employees of TTSM were wearing the same “T” shirt and eagerly waiting to fulfill the second part of the “Greening Penang Program – Mud Balls Throwing”. When two chartered buses arrived, everyone boarded the buses and travelled to the nearby “Sungei Nibong Kecil” river. Plastic crates filled with 10,000 pieces of mud balls which were made about a month ago were transported by a truck and arranged at the river bank. After taking a few snaps of photos to commemorate the event, everyone started to put their hands into the crates to scope up the mud balls and throwing into the river. A few colleagues from Japan, Singapore, Thailand and USA had also joined the event which lasted about an hour. With various actions and poses in an effort to throw the mud balls into the river, this event not only enabled employees to interact with one another in an interesting and fun manner but the group had also contributed towards Saving The Environment For A Better Living.
Upon completion of the mud ball throwing, the event continued with presentation of Long Service Awards. Four loyal employees were awarded with 5 years’ Service Award and everyone was treated to a buffet lunch.
As part of Corporate Social Responsibility, TTSM Penang had participated in the Greening Penang Program initiated by PSDC in aiming to improve the water quality of rivers of Penang. With good intention coupled with good teamwork, employees of Penang dug their hands into a mixture of red earth, fermented rice, husk/brand and Effectively Microorganism Activated Solutions to mould round balls. Combination of sweat and fun throughout the activity, the first part of the program was accomplished when the group successfully molded 10,000 pieces of mud balls within four and a half hours.
Innovativeness, cost effectiveness and agility is the most important things we look for ...even after leaving Intel, I will always recommend TTS and will continue to do so.
...repeatability from trial to trial, and all in all, we have good support, certainly a robust product, so we are happy with it.
